Bro. McDaniel was ordained as a minister and called to pastor our church
in December 1963. He and his wife Dorothy have been married for 54 years.
They have 2 sons, 6 grandchildren, three great granddaughters, and one great grandson.
Our Pastor's Personal Testimony
As a young man, I had no intention of being either a christian, or a preacher.
God worked regeneration in me by a sovereign work and called and converted
me to the faith of Christ. The revelation of his sovereignty was another
wonderful work of providence. God caused a preacher friend to recommend
to me the writings of A. W. Pink. I read his book, The Sovereignty of God. He used scripture for proof of all he wrote, and destroyed all my arguments
with the Word of Truth. From there, I began to read the old writers, and
sat at the feet of those well taught servants of God. I count it a privilege,
as well as a duty, to preach the truth of sovereign grace.
